While I’ve been catching up with Arslan Senki with a second viewing to help provide more in-depth coverage of the series overall I thought I’d make an announcement regarding a few changes to the site.
I’ve got tons of series on my watch list which you can find on the right side of this blog. And there are a few series I’d really like to cover and have had a lot of recommendations from friends about. Here is a list of potential series I really want to cover eventually.
- Haikyu!
- Noragami
- Kemonozume! [I recently screened this for my anime club and they loved it]
- Lupin the Third Blue Jacket series IV
- Rampo Kitan Game of Laplace
- The Perfect Insider
- Mardock Scramble
- Ghost in the Shell ARISE
- Gakkou Gurashi
- Japan Animator Expo
- One-Punch Man
- Concrete Revolutio
I’ve also got a huge list of feature films ranging from Miyazaki to Mamoru Oshii and most if not all of Satoshi Kon’s directed works. It’s been ages since I’ve seen Paranoia Agent and even Boogiepop Phantom so I want to cover older animated titles as well. I hope everyone is enjoying the new layout with the posts! Episode production details right below the image screenshots and my review that follows. As much as I love animation production I felt that I was putting way too much time into writing about the background of an episode rather than the actual content. I’m still going to be posting about production but just not as much as what an anime is truly about from week-to-week.
Want to let my readers know that lately, I’ve been getting strong advertising of my blog through a wonderful Facebook page which you can find here. Started in 2014 by C+ programmer and anime fan Al Jensen. Check out his blog over at this website as it’s a very insightful read on computer/website programming.
The biggest news is that こんにちはアニメの友人 will be having another writer on board! Welcome Al Jensen! I hope that I can gain a few writers for this blog for series that I’m personally less invested in. As the intentions of this blog are categorical I hope to maintain that idea but also build that up by allowing different people to write about their perspective on the anime shows they watch.
The images above are a few of Al Jensen’s favorite series.
- Shingeki no Kyojin [Attack on Titan]
- Steins;Gate
- PSYCHO-PASS
- Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun
