I wanted to keep this post short but sweet as I want to try to avoid spoilers in my reviews- some series its tough to refrain from that.
Time for the final showdown- this didn’t disappoint at all! Mako being the strongest in her Goku Uniform was very surprising- at last we get to see her fight the COVERS! This episode just re-emphasized how ridiculous it can be yet it is highly engrossing! The original Life Fiber cuts the Naked Sol in half which was very funny because that Nudist Beach ship has seen worse attacks on the actual bridge between Ryuko and Satsuki fighting! This was so much fun to watch!
Haha the Great Naked Dagger- I’ve enjoyed since episode 1 how this series introduces its characters and special attacks with giant red kanji displayed on the screen. The plot might not be as thought provoking as some of the shows we had in the Fall 2013/Winter 2014 season but this episode had to be the most ostentatious out of anything we’ve seen so far- even Space Dandy.
Wouldn’t say its better than that show as Space Dandy is charmingly humorous- Kill la Kill has always been exceedingly vivacious in the delivery of its scenes and its main cast of characters! Even those grainy still shots at the very end of the episodes in this series are wild, and sharply drawn!
OVERALL IMPRESSION: 7/10
